Small Wins — Privacy Policy
Small Wins — Privacy Policy
Updated 24 September 2026
Everything you write in Small Wins stays on your phone. There is no account, no server and no analytics, and the app has no internet features. Nothing leaves your phone unless you send it.
What the app keeps
Your entries, goals, categories and reflections, the photos you attach to them, and your settings. They are stored in the app’s own space on your phone, which other apps cannot read.
Photos
When you add a photo to an entry, Small Wins copies that one picture into its own storage. It only sees the photos you pick, never the rest of your library, and it never changes the originals.
Reminders and notifications
Reminders and Looking back are scheduled by your phone itself. Nothing passes through a server, and they work in airplane mode. The app only asks to send notifications when you choose to allow them, and what a notification shows on a locked screen is set by your phone.
What leaves your phone
Only what you send. Export makes one file of your journal and puts it where you choose — Downloads on Android, or wherever you pick from the share sheet. From there it is yours to keep or send, and anywhere you send it has its own privacy policy.
Import reads the one file you pick. Tapping a link saved in an entry opens that website in your browser.
Your phone’s backups
If your phone backs itself up to iCloud or Google, that backup may include Small Wins, just like your other apps. You control this in your phone’s settings, Apple’s or Google’s policy covers it, and we cannot see it.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no crash reporting of its own. We don’t know who uses Small Wins, and we have no way to read your journal.
If you have allowed it in your phone’s settings, Apple or Google may share anonymous crash reports and download numbers with us. These never contain anything from your journal.
Deleting
A deleted entry disappears from your journal and is left out of every export. Uninstalling Small Wins deletes everything it stored on your phone, photos included, so export first if you want to keep your journal.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear here with a new date at the top. Anything that would send your data off your phone would be a new feature that you choose to turn on, and it would tell you so first.
